Most skilled networkers have a network of people who send them qualified, pre-sold leads. (If you don't have lots of people sending these referrals to you, now would be a great time to start.)

The accepted etiquette is for the networker to send a gift, a card, make a phone call or at least acknowledge and recognize the person who sent you this great referral. And this we should do right away.

With a little imagination, you can send thoughtful gifts that will excite your source of these referrals and get him to send you more. I have given:

   * A simple phone call.
   * Dinner, movie tickets, and paid for the babysitter.
   * A weekend stay at a local hotel.
   * A coupon for fishing tackle.
   * Cash.
   * A car (the referral earned me $5,000 a month, so this made sense.)
   * A digital camera.
   * A gift basket with natural skin care products.
   * Chocolate.

You will be amazed at the response you get from people who you appreciate for helping you. Many people just live for appreciation and will constantly send you new, pre-sold prospects for your products and opportunity.

But here is the ugly side:

You create negativity when you do not recognize or appreciate the person who sent you the referrals.

Even the nicest person will think, "I can't believe it. I send a great referral that buys, and I don't even get a thank-you card. I'm never going to help this person again!"

Forgetting this simple etiquette will kill off your referrals and give you a bad reputation. You'll be driving your business right off the cliff, plummeting toward disaster.

So please, remember the people who help.

And, if you don't have lots of "bird dogs" and advocates sending you pre-sold business, now would be an excellent time to start. The pros do it. Join them with one of the easiest ways to build your business - referrals.

1)  Don't love money above all things.  If you're all consumed about money, if you worry about money all the time, that means that money is an idol to you.  There is no need to worry when you have faith in God.

2)  Work with a Spirit of Excellence.  Work your job or Business with all of your might.  God sees what you do, he sees your diligence, the extra hours, the motivation, he sees the heart that you're pouring into it, he sees & will bless the fruit of your hands.  So don't worry because it doesn't matter what man/woman is above you, God will bless the fruit of your hands.

3)  Know that the money that God blesses you with is for a much bigger purpose than just your stuff.  Does that mean that God doesn't want to bless you with stuff?  Of course not.  But he doesn't want the "stuff" to own your life.

4)  You have to know that it's God's money.  It's not yours.  It comes from him & there's a much bigger purpose for that money.  He wants to multiply that money, but when you get it and you're stingy or all caught up in it, he will not bless you with more.  Why?  Because you're on a road to destruction.

5)  Be generous.  Don't hoard.  Don't be stingy.  God wants to bless you with more, but he won't unless you're a giver.  A cheerful giver.  Do you want God to trust you with more money?  Then give willingly.  Give graciously.  Give with a cheerful heart.

6)  Give into the right soil.  In the Bible it talks about the Parable of the Sower.  It talks about four different types of soil into which a farmer will sow.  There's rocky soil.  If you sow your seed on rocky soil, it sprouts quickly and it dies quickly.
The second type of soil is hard ground.  With hard ground, the birds come in & steal your seed away.
The third soil is the thorny soil.  This type of soil gets roots, but your seed eventually withers & dies.
The fourth type of soil is fertile ground & this is the only soil where you want to plant your seed.  The Bible says that on fertile ground there is a return of 30, 60 and 100 fold.  Some of us are planting money in infertile soil.
Have you noticed that your income hasn't increased?  Maybe it has stayed the same.  You have to think about where you're planting your seed.

7)  You need to realize that there's a time of plenty and a preparation for a time of famine.  Are you in a season of plenty?  If you are, know that the season of plenty is not for you to eat all of your seed.  That season of plenty is for preparation so that you may still prosper when other people are failing all around you financially.

8)  You have to prosper where you're planted.  Do you have dreams & visions of where you want to go and what you want to do?  Are there places you'd like to visit?  Have you gotten frustrated because your dreams haven't come to pass?
This is a plan from the enemy, to get your focus on what you don't have instead of focusing on making yourself prosper right where you are.  For example, this is how most people do it; "If my husband would act right then I'd treat him better.  If my wife would stop nagging then I'd buy her flowers.  When I have this big business, then I'll help others."  It doesn't work that way.  You have to prosper where you're planted under the current circumstance that you're in.

9)  You need to ask & ask BIG.  You need to think bigger than what you're thinking.  You need to ask for help.  The Bible says if you need wisdom ask for it.  If there's something you don't know how to do, ask & he will give it to you.

10)  You need to understand that it's ok to fail.  It's ok to make mistakes.  There are ups & downs.  In the down time, don't worry, fret or freak out.  Just know that you are fully taken care of, that God loves you.  Why?  Because God's word says that His grace far exceeds the Heavens.  His grace is enormous.
He is looking for an obedient heart that will fall into his arms instead of depending on their own.

This is an excerpt from the book "Spirit Driven Success" by Dani Johnson.

Here's the formula for poverty (Do the opposite of this for Wealth).  From the book:  "Spirit Driven Success" by Dani Johnson.

1)  Be lazy & half-hearted.  So, it means to be lazy & work half-heartedly in your job or business & poverty will await you.

2)  Become a fool, a drunk, gluttonous (not only food, material things) or a wasteful person & you will go poor.

3)  Having pride in times of prosperity & forgetting that God is the one giving you all of it.  This will bring poverty.

4)  If you attempt to hide your wrong-doings, you will attract poverty.

5)  Love money & that will bring poverty.  If you desire money more than anything else, more than God, more than your kids, more than your spouse, then poverty will show up at your doorstep.

6)  Being selfish & stingy.  People that do not give will be impoverished. (And it doesn't mean giving toys to your kids, it means giving your time/money to the homeless, etc. People in real need).

7)  Be fearful & poverty will come to you.  It means you do nothing with whatever talents you were given at birth.  If you do nothing, it will be taken away and given to someone else.  This could be your business, your job, the family that you have, the responsibility that you have.  If you are afraid you will never take risks in life.

Don't feel all sad now that you are done reading this.  Maybe you are realizing that you are doing some of these steps. If you think you are taking one or more of these steps in your life, that's good!  It's good because you realize that and now you can do something about it.

Take action & change it!
